WP 13 = (you gonna hate this) The MARGHERITA di SAVOIA Gate - Left Gate in, right Gate out... (not over 200ft)
Rules (Easy - but necessary)Start is set up in an echelon right formation with 3 Planes (we have 2 Runways = 6 Planes. Start and Finish is GIOIA del COLLE Airbase -> 340°)
We join via Taxi. You have to be on you start position by 10:35. No ATC (Audio Channel off). You turn off the engine with the Master fuel Switch. At 10:40 the engine wille be restarted. (Don't forget the Parking Break!). ACMI Tape should be started by now...
At 10:47 (= 10 Anniv, 47th DF) the Race starts by the command of the Nr. 1:„start by my go...three...two...one...go“. After Airbourne, everybody turns the smoke on.
After the Race...
...make a Screenshot of your Debriefing with the hit of the water tower. Put it with the ACMI Tape into a .zip and send it to "airrace at 47df.com" (Example: YourName_Q1.zip - the Q1 is the first qualifying)
If you crash?
It shouldn't happen, but if it's at the beginning of the race, we restart without the guy who is flying like a blind cow. If it's on the touch & go or finish airfield, he has to tell where he wen't down. The others have to avoid the wreck as good as possible. Everybody stay's in the 3D World until the race is over!
Finish
After the Race, you leave the runway and taxi to the Ramp position. You don't leave the 3D world until everybody comes to a complete stop at the ramp. After that you can enjoy the debriefing or get a new pair of underpants.
Additional Rules (for the wise guys)Direct colisions and/or flying like a pig is penalised by disqualifying.
Your Race time is the gap between 10:47:00 and the contact of your main gear with the finish airport.
If you leave a Gate or the Touch & Go - you're out =p (for a touch & go the ACMI Tape show's a height of 357 ft)
If you don't hit the Water Tower - you get 5 minutes+ for free. Stop counting - it's too much time anyway
If you shoot a rival - we shoot you out of the race...
last but not least - Don't drop the stores under any circumstances! Maybe it will affect your FLCS, maybe not - it's you choice...
