Ok, after further testing I believe that the people who are saying that it just reads the fps of the VFR window are right. I am sorry but the game play does not feel smoother or changed in anyway after detaching the window. I tested this with msi afterburner, fraps, and bandicams fps counter. This time I flew into an airport and let the copilot take the plane for a little drive. Each time I detached the window the fps would double (playing on ultra fps 15 to 30) but when moving it around I felt no difference. (Even though there should be a large one) I thereby declare that this method does not work! Sorry for the false hope or confusion.
