The symbol indicator showing the LAZUR datalink one-way commands could be mounted on the top of the ASP-17ML/23D gunsight assembly simply denoting the aircraft was operating in the Air Defence system(PVO). The designation ASP-23ML was probably originated from the fact that the gunsight ASP-23D was installed on early built Mig-23ML. That is exactly the last cockpit Mig-23 photo you`ve posted.

Czy to by oznaczało że samoloty należące do WWS mimo posiadania radiolonii Lazur nie mogły być naprowadzane przyrządowo? Bez tej listwy nie było sposobu przekazania komunikatów dla pilota, no chyba że symbole te były wyświetlane na szybie ASP. Bądż też samoloty WWS mogły być naprowadzane przez Lazura jedynie gdy system uzbrojenia pracował w trybie automatycznym bo wtedy komunikaty dla pilota są po prostu nie potrzebne.

Czy to by oznaczało że samoloty należące do WWS mimo posiadania radiolonii Lazur nie mogły być naprowadzane przyrządowo?

Of course I`m not saying that. The ARL-SM datalink worked with another cockpit instruments like the VDI-30, UISM-1, NPP and the KPP, so the pilot was able to fly according to the GCI even without the one-way command table indicator. The table indicator was there to pass commands transmitted through the ARL-SM to the pilot to handle the weapon system, they light up in the right time during the intercept, but to be honest I`m not sure whether I`ve seen a Mig-23MF/ML cockpit without the table command indicator. Its a very similar to the IPL indicator on the Mig-21.

The switch M-NM means "maneuverable" and "non-maneuverable" targets and it is used with the "PZ" firring mode only. The white/khaki color should differentiate between control panel bombing and firring modes.

Świetne, dzięki. Faktycznie wygląda jak w MF, ciekawe w takim układzie jaki był sens zamiany starego ASP na nowy. A czy kolega ma jakieś rysunki jak wyglądała symbolika gdy ASP pracował w trybie nawigacji, przy strzelaniu lub zrzucie bomb do celów naziemnych naziemnych ( to był tryb asynchroniczny o jeżeli dobrze pamiętam )?.

Ładne te filmiki, świetne znalezisko Zimny. Najbardziej podobał mi się pilot z petem, kosiak na dopalaniu i te nocne starty. Wtedy też mniej więcej spojrzłem na datę. Przecie my wtedy jeszcze w "osi zła" byli lol  .
